All in all a good ending following a lack of success at selling at £~12k car on AutoTrader and Ebay.. Several enquiries but not being able to take part-exchange or offer finance – big stumbling block – until David rang, enquired about the story of our ownership and why selling etc.. came back and offered a reasonable compromise price.. From thereon, all went perfectly smoothly, two way honesty the catalyst leading to immediate transfer of deposit and agreed balance without problem on pick-up, exactly as arranged. Also had similar calls from other dealers, one even offering more, but something about David’s professional tone and nature over the phone, swung the deal in his direction and happy with the result!
