I received an email via Autotrader asking to sell my car to David James Limited. with a very reasonable offer, suggesting they pay good prices above the usual competitors. My immediate thoughts were that this was either not to be trusted, or a waste of time especially as they are 300miles away.However I kept an open mind and replied to test the water. What followed was a great conversation with David which helped me feel more confident this was a genuine enquiry. I sent him a few more photos and explained the full history of the car and that was it.A substantial deposit was sent to hold the car, with a request to remove the advert which I happily did.We agreed on a convenient date for collection and David sent as promised a driver to collect the vehicle. After an inspection to confirm everything we had discussed, the remaining balance was sent without fail and hit my bank.Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. David is a lovely guy and extremely personable and honest from start to finish. I had a gut feeling from our initial phone call it was going to be ok and I was right.
